Protobuzz is a startup founded in 2024 by Amal Parameswaran. We help buildings run concierge level access with software that works on day one.
Our story
Protobuzz began in downtown Toronto when Amal Parameswaran set out to replace unreliable intercom workflows with intuitive software. Growing up in condos and working alongside property teams, Amal saw how much time was lost juggling deliveries, temporary visitors, and outdated hardware.
We believe residents deserve secure, flexible access without waiting on concierge desks, and building teams need automation that respects their existing infrastructure. Protobuzz bridges that gap by layering cloud control, audit ready history, and mobile notifications onto the buzzer systems properties already rely on.
Our team works out of Toronto's startup community, listening to building operators, board members, and residents across the GTA. Their feedback drives every release, from virtual callbox workflows to smarter contractor access.
